It's Barnsley vs Cardiff
published: Tuesday | March 11, 2008

LONDON (AP):

League Championship teams Barnsley and Cardiff will face each other for a place in the FA Cup final. Portsmouth, the only Premier League survivor, will meet promotion-chasing West Bromwich Albion in the other semi-final match.

Three teams from outside the top flight have made it to the April 5-6 semi-finals, which will both be played at Wembley. The final, also at the home of English soccer, is scheduled for May 17.

The four semi-finalists also guarantee that an English manager will capture the title for the first time since Everton's Joe Royle in 1995. All four managers - Jones, Davey, Portsmouth's Harry Redknapp and West Brom's Tony Mowbray - are English.
