State of Jamaica
Can someone explain to me how a government that has been in power only months can be blamed for the problems of Jamaica? Let me try and understand this. The PNP ruled Jamaica for 18 years in which time we had the meltdown of the economy, crime growing out of control, almost no growth to speak of and countless scandals of monies going missing. I can go on and on. We, as Jamaicans, must be truthful if we are to move forward as a nation. I am not saying the PNP did not do some good things, but the state of Jamaica speaks for itself.

NHT selection
It is very unfortunate that NHT schemes are only for old people. The selection should be done in a manner where a percentage is allocated to older contributors and the rest allocated to younger contributors. I find it very disheartening to know that an NHT loan is really not for everyone. If I am to be a beneficiary of an NHT scheme unit, I would have to wait until I am close to 40 before I can own a house. My only hope is to search on the open market to find something suitable. The NHT needs to rethink its selection process.

John paul Whyte
I want to locate my father John Paul Whyte (age 81). His last known address is Kingston, Jamaica. His Jamaican children are Marcus Whyte, Harold Whyte, Renée Whyte, Camille Whyte and Nicole Whyte. My grandmother is Bernadette Jones. She is called Miss Pat. If she is still living, she would be in her late 90s. Her last known address is also Kingston, Jamaica.

About Millie Small
I am a fan of Millie Small, a one-time Jamaican resident and recording artiste, who sang in the 'blue beat' idiom, most popular in the early '60s. The Gleaner has published interviews with the lady herself. Do you know how a fan can get in contact with her, please?
On my copy of Time Will Tell, it states that she was born on 0ctober 6, 1948, which means she will soon be 60 and eligible for her free bus pass in the UK. I am surprised that, having come from a family of 14, none of her siblings has become showbiz celebrities - or do you know of any celebrities who are related to the lovely Ms Small?
