Collect a warning notice from the Transport Authority inspector / collect traffic ticket from the police. (Transport Authority inspectors will make themselves available to serve summons).

Proceed to pound where vehicle will be stored (Transport Authority inspectors will provide information as to where the vehicle is stored).

If your vehicle is seized by Transport Authority inspectors, carry out the following:

Meet with licensing manager, regional manager or general manager for legal and corporate services;

If you have been issued a summons to attend court, you should attend on the date specified on the summons;

The court will decide whether the vehicle is to be released and the amount of fees paid to the court. If the vehicle is released by court, the court will issue one of the following:

1. Receipt for payment of court fines

2. A letter outlining the order of court

If your vehicle is seized by the police, visit the relevant post as outlined below for further instructions:

Ensure that vehicle documents (insurance, fitness & registration) are up-to-date.

STEP 4: VISIT THE TRANSPORT AUTHORITY OFFICE
