Seems like the new cars just keep rolling out from Mitsubishi Motors. After their much-anticipated Evolution X was introduced to the public over a month ago, the company unveiled its 2008 Outlander at its offices on South Camp Road, Kingston, on Tuesday.

A.J. Brown did a four-song stint to get the audience pumped up for the rest of the launch. He did Never Gonna Give You Up, You Raise Me Up and My Father My Friend, before ending with a soaring rendition of Time To Say Goodbye.

Brian Stevenson, managing director of the Issa Transport Group, said that since last year Mitsubishi Motors had encountered a phenomenal turnaround. He pledged his personal commitment to ensuring customers would receive first-class service.

Dirt roads

But it was all about the vehicles. The Outlander is now a bigger, more powerful, and overall sweeter ride. Unlike some sport utility vehicles, it can actually take the dirt roads, but it's still sporty enough to cruise around town in.

Among the guests ogling the new rides were: Neville Richards, André Thomas, Sloane Jackson, Andre Hylton, Ruby Martin, Cedric McDonald, Bobby Marshall, Carlton Green, Robert Pickersgill, Janet Fagan, David Crawford, Charmaine Wright, Tarun Handa and Warren Castle.
