In the prelude to Valentine's Day, The Gleaner's Food section challenged readers to create the most seductive and delicious love potion using J. Wray and Nephew Rum Cream. The recipes poured in, the finalists were selected and they had a exciting mix-off at the Acropolis Gaming Suite on Monday February 11. The winners were announced last week Thursday, and on Monday they returned to reap their sweet rewards.
The sponsor, J. Wray & Nephew, presented each contestant with some fabulous gift baskets and the top three also got some dough to go along with it. Here are the highlights.
