It was a night of high fashion and roof-raising performances at Mega Mart's annual staff party on Tuesday.

Members of staff from all three branches, must have skimmed through the wardrobe to look their absolute best and with a never-ending buffet. The night was fun-filled. But it was the performances that blew everyone away.

Rising stars

Shaun Battick, manager of the Portmore branch of MegaMart, was only too willing to be serenaded by Denise Binns at the staff party at the Caymanas Polo Club last Tuesday night.

Rising Stars runner-up Jodiann Pantry got them going early before inviting Noddy Virtue on stage and they set the venue on fire with Bed Of Roses. Virtue then obliged the audience by doing a few more songs before teasing them with "Rebel In Me" before making his exit.

Apache Chief and Sarge had guests rolling in the aisles with their act. The tables and chairs were gradually moved from the front of the stage paving the way for the blockbuster finale to the performances. The chants of "we want Beenie" soon went up and before long, with an entourage in tow, 'The Doctor' took the stage and performed musical surgery. He didn't have to do much as once he started most of his big hits, the fans took over.

After a rapid performance, it was dancing time as the DJ gave them something to move to for the remainder of the night.

Everyone wants a piece of 'The Doctor' Beenie Man as he goes through a string of hits at the MegaMart party.
