Christian Fellowship church honours 50
published: Wednesday | January 30, 2008

Some 50 persons were awarded in recognition of long-standing service to Christian Fellowship World Outreach (CFWO) during its 25th anniversary banquet on Friday night.

During the ceremony, held at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston, other awards were given on the basis of general commendable services and contribution to the church's home mission arm.

Two special awards of recognition were also given to Reverend Drs. James and Roslyn Douglas, founders of the CFWO.

Prior to the award presentation, those in attendance were treated to a rendition of Jesus Your Beautiful To Me, by Jeneva Craig.

The performance, lasting just over three minutes, was masterfully executed, from the lead vocalist, the back-up singers and the pianist's musical accompaniment.
