The lighting; red. The decor; tinged with black and silver. The vehicle of choice; Toyota.
This was the essence of Toyota Jamaica's customer appreciation reception on Thursday at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel. It was only appropriate that this reception take place at the Top Of The World suite as the staff and management of the company must be feeling on top of the world.
With a wide range of vehicles for customers to choose from, prices competing with the other big boys and a reputation based on the reliability of their vehicles, it's always good news at Toyota Jamaica.
But despite the company's place in the market, Managing Director John Connell opined that 2008 was going to be an even more stellar year as the people of Toyota focus on the areas in which they felt they needed to improve. In business you simply can't afford to rest on your laurels and there's always room for improvement.
Guests were entertained by the Versonic Vibes Steel band, whose metallic sounds welcomed them to the affair, while Dance Xpressionz would turn up the heat later on.
Those out to 'rev it up' included Stacey-Ann Fletcher, Howard Foster, Danny Buchanan, Robert Stephenson, Michael Williams, Candace Walker, Mitzie Pratt, Irene Graham, Angella Smith, Bob Fowler, Gayon Cummings, Diane Spence, Chris Sarju and Gary Scott.
