Jazz all around!
published: Sunday | January 27, 2008

At the annual Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, women proved why they fall in love quicker than men.

And why when they fall, they fall hard. This was the love fest scene at the Aqueduct at Rose Hall on Thursday night, and none of them were prepared to make any apology for having so much fun.

From as early as 7:00 p.m, the men were outnumbered by the fairer sex, who came out with one intention in mind, 'From beginning to end', '365 days of the year', 'I want the same old love baby' and 'All I wanna do is share my life with you, same old love'.

Highlights

And the only person capable of delivering those ballads was no other than Anita Baker. Here are highlights of the first night at Jazz 2008 on our social pages.

Before Jamaicans converged on the city of Montego Bay for the annual Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, our sister island of Barbados was having their share of the excitement at their 15th annual Barbados Jazz Festival. Freelance photographer Winston Sill was there to capture the moments.
