Girls could quite possibly be the most confusing and complicated beings we boys have ever encountered. They lure us with their charm and cute giggles, send mixed signals, then leave us dazed and confused.

It's hard trying to keep up with them - to know the difference between what they say and what they mean, and all the little hints in between.

Outlook Youth asked 15 guys to tell us one thing about girls they can't understand.

For the most interesting teen issues and styles, get your copy of Youthlink magazine on news-stands on Tuesday.

1) Sheldon Brown, 17 - "I can't understand that girls say they don't like boys who cheat, yet they always seem to be the ones who go after a guy who is in a relationship."

2) Odari White, 16 - "Do they always tell their friends everything? And why do they always go to the bathroom in pairs or groups and stay so long?"

3) Jovan Silvera, 17 - "Why is it that some girls just see another girl and instantly don't like her, even if they don't know her?"

4) Pierre Davis, 17 - "It just baffles me that they get upset over the simplest things, and expect us to know what it is."

5) Xavier Rose, 19 - "Why won't they let us know if they like us? And they expect us to know what they're thinking and what they want."

6) Nahteel Semakula 21: - "I can't understand why they get upset when they ask a question and they don't like the answer we give, like we're mind-readers or something."

7) Roy Plummer, 17 - "Girls say they want a good guy who treats them with respect. When they get what they want, they turn around a want a bad boy."

8) Joseph Whitebourne 19 - "I can't seem to understand why they feel that they must want to control and demand all of your time."

9) Sean Fuller, 17 - "I can't get that when they go to the beach in a bikini, they think it is OK for people to stare but if you walk in on them by accident, in a bikini, they scream something outrageous like 'pervert!'"

10) Kamaal Bolton, 18 - "They keep on testing us, always setting up little scenarios to see how we'll react and then 'grade' us according to that."

11) Sheldon Anthony Reid, 18 - "Why do some girls (in relationships), believe that we never pay enough attention to them, when we bend over backwards to keep them happy?"

12) Don Marc Powell, 18 - "Why when you just meet a girl she expects you to do all the talking but when you do, she says you chat too much?"

13) Chad Campbell, 16 - "Girls say one thing yet they mean something totally different and expect us to know what they mean!"

14) Christopher White, 17 - "Some girls seem so insecure. They say they trust you, yet give a different impression when they ask a ton of questions and inquire for the least things."

15) Clark Nigel: 20 - "Why do girls like to flirt with and tease guys when there is nothing to benefit from it at all. It may be amusing to them because they never anticipate karma."
