After Red Stripe's communications director, Maxine Whittingham (now Osborne), and husband, chief financial officer, JPS, Gary Osborne, exchanged wedding vows and jumped the broom, family and friends gave the couple a standing ovation signalling the end of the formalities.
However, when the bride immediately took the microphone and romantically serenaded her new husband, hitting the perfect melody of Nancy Wilson's How Glad I Am sent chills down some spines and brought tears to many eyes.
The perfectly manicured lawns of the groom's Aston Ridge Great House estate perched atop Old Stony Hill Road provided an enchanting garden setting and a breathtaking view of the entire city. The city, which glowed even brighter with the many New Year's Eve festivities - powered by JPS - while the thirsty palates of revellers were no doubt quenched by some ice-cold Red Stripe beer.

The bride walked down the petalled aisle in a perfectly fitted antique strapless ivory gown by Beautiful Brides and Mr. Tux. It was topped by a sparkling royal tiara, while the groom chose a black tuxedo and midnight blue accents.
The brief ceremony, which was attended by a small group of very close friends and family, was officiated by Bishop Anthony Morgan under an elegant theme of midnight blue and ivory.
The fun-filled reception included entertainment by DiMario McDowell and Friends.
