There should be a programme to clean cemeteries at least once per year. The May Pen Cemetery, the Calvary Cemetery, the Chinese Cemetery and others all need cleaning.

There are many unemployed persons who would welcome the opportunity to be gainfully employed. Some of them are beggars and some are troublemakers. If not these, then send prisoners to do the job.

There are other areas that also need cleaning such as town centres and other public spaces.

Crime and violence are destroying our country; the gunmen and the murderers are wreaking havoc.

The lack of peace and love and unity are also why our island is sinking like the Titanic.

We need the kind of transformation such as happened in the wake of Hurricane Gilbert in 1988 when everybody cooperated and went the extra mile to help one another. We need to bring back the love.
