SuperClubs resorts score big!
published: Wednesday | December 12, 2007

ISSA

SuperClubs has been named Resort of the Year at the 13th annual Caribbean World Travel Awards held recently in London. The award recognises the hard work of all SuperClubs team members who are dedicated to ensuring guests always enjoy their stay at a SuperClubs resort.

At the awards ceremony, SuperClubs owner John Issa (in photo above) was also honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Travel and Tourism. As an innovator in the all-inclusive industry, Mr. Issa has been duly recognised for his efforts by this prestigious organisation.

All-inclusive concept

Mr. Issa introduced the all-inclusive concept to Jamaica in 1976 with Negril Beach Village, now Hedonism II. Over the last three decades, he has continuously improved the brand and its offerings, creating and establishing the Caribbean's only super-inclusive vacations. SuperClubs operates eight resorts in Jamaica; one each in Curaçao, The Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic; plus two in Brazil and three in Cuba. The properties fall into three brand categories: the AAA Four Dia-mond Grand Lido resorts and spas, the active and family-friendly Breezes resorts, and the playfully sexy Hedonism resorts. Super-Clubs also operates two affiliate pro-perties in Jamaica: the family resort Starfish and Rooms.
