Agree with Golding
published: Monday | November 26, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

I totally agree with Mr. Golding and I will tell you why. When the JLP won the election, Mr. Golding made a beautiful speech inviting the Opposition to make a better Jamaica together. What ensued?

Papers were shredded and a computer mysteriously stolen. Mrs Simpson Miller then started talking about nightmares. But the straws that broke my back is when she formed that committee to investigate the bulbs episode; followed by two resignations of the central figures.

The crux of the matter, however, is, when she and the PNP started telling Jamaica it was the present Government who were responsible for the recent price increases.

My honest understanding of this is simple: either they believe the Jamaican electorate are mentally depraved, or they themselves are. A great man once said, "the truth always offends".

I am, etc,,

A. HECTOR
