Eclectic contemporary SPACES
published: Sunday | November 25, 2007

It's a family affair with (from left) Judith Pantry; daughter, Janelle Pantry; and husband, Kent, as parents come out in support of their child's new venture - SPACES, last Sunday.

Nashauna Drummond, Lifestyle Coordinator

With all the entertaining you have planned for season, you need the appropriate pieces. Luckily, Janelle Pantry has opened a store called SPACES in the new Winchester Business Centre, Hope Road, St. Andrew.

With the tag line 'Everything Home, Everything Style', it can bring any space 'up to the time' with contemporary, one-of-a-kind pieces. Well, perhaps three of a kind is more like it. Pantry never carries more than three of any item, so exclusivity is a close cousin.

Pantry, whose background is in cosmetology, honed her designing skills while living in Austria. While in this European city learning German, she moved into her own apartment and then tackled the task of decorating it. This awakened her senses to another side of beauty.

Her pieces, eclectic with contemporary lines, but with a traditional twist, will give your space the facelift it needs. If space is limited, Pantry shows you how to get your decorative accents off the floor and on to the walls. If you have no idea about interior designing/decorating, she has set up a very homely corner for individual 'consultation'.

Walking into SPACES feels like walking into your own home or at least, what you would like your home to look like. From service ware, to home fragrances, to baby collection and bridal registry (to come), it makes sense to fill yours with pieces from SPACES.
