Babsy's leadership
published: Saturday | November 24, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

Good leaders are made not born. If you have the desire and willpower, you can become an effective leader. Good leaders develop through a never-ending process of self-study, education, training, and experience.

To inspire your people into higher levels of teamwork, there are certain things you must be, know, and, do. These do not come naturally, but are acquired through continual work and study. The best leaders are continually working and studying to improve their leadership skills.

congrats

Within this framework we take this opportunity to congratulate Minister of Sports, Olivia 'Babsy' Grange for her proactive leadership approach in getting J$35 million to the Jamaica Football Federation to assist with their financial woes, the legacy of the previous administration.

Miss Grange you have started your ministerial roll-out of duties on a high political note. I am quite sure you will be able to maintain this standard, regardless of the challenges. Keep up your proactive approach to effective and efficient political governance in Jamaica.

I am, etc.,

Dr. CHARLES
