Shoppes at Rose Hall a sure hit
published: Sunday | November 18, 2007

Imagine cool breezes that play a light game of tug of war with one's garments, savouring a drink of iced cappuccino while sitting in an easy and elegant atmosphere - pray tell, is there a better way to enjoy a Sunday evening?

Montego Bay businessman Mark Hart and his wife, Candace, chat with director of Tropicana Jewellers Kumar Samtani (centre).

Cobblestoned walkways, seating under lush palm trees and a striking water wheel make the Shoppes at Rose Hall more than just a shopping experience. The package promised is one which is perfectly picturesque and provides a cosy ambience; and the guests seated around dainty tables and chairs in the glazed open courtyard sipping hot coffee can attest to that!

Ryan Russell (right) was out looking every bit his adorable self and was seated beside his friend Gopal Khiani, manager of Envy clothing store at the Shoppes at Rose Hall.

The shopping village will be great for tourists and locals, and all the patrons at Sunday's open house were eager about the prospects of this great entertainment spot.

The shopping village boasts a wide range of shops; from cigar stores to restaurants. The wide array of merchandise to choose from includes exquisite jewellery, coffee, lovely clothing and miscellaneous items.

Just the tip of the iceberg

One patron commented, "the completion of Shoppes at Rose Hall is just the tip of the iceberg," and rightly so, for with the emergence of Palmyra and the completion of the new highway, development in MoBay is poised for big things.

Rose Hall Cigar Club manager Nick Mansharamani shares a hearty laugh with Erica Miller at the open house of the Shoppes at Rose Hall last Sunday.

Some of the guests at the open house were: Chairman/CEO of Positive Tourism Theo Chambers, Ryan Russell, Paula Kerr-Jarrett, Michelle Rollins and Mark Rollins, CPJ chairman Mark Hart and wife Candace, RBTT's Vandyke McKenzie, Casa de Oro's Indru Dadlani, Tropicana Jewellers director Kumar Samtani, among others.
