Yendi is one of several beauties that the world is betting on to win the Miss World title.

The Royal Flush, which borrows from a gambling term, presents the views of six beauty pageant experts about which of the 107 contestants are closest to the coveted title.

As far as 'The Royal Flush' goes, Phillipps is now sixth in line for the crown, behind Italy in fifth, Dominican Republic, fouth, Malaysia, third and China second. All top-five contestants are dubbed 'King of Hearts'.

Seventh to 11th place are dubbed 'Queen of Hearts'; 12 to 16, 'Jack of Hearts' and 17 to 21 '10 of Hearts'.

The 'Ace of Hearts' or person closest to the crown right now is Miss Lithuania, Jurgita Jurkute.

Ranking updated daily

The ranking of the contestants is updated daily and is based on how much attention each girl garners during the competition.

However, pageant experts are not the only ones with an interest in predicting who will become the next Miss World.

Bookmakers from all over the world are taking bets daily on who is likely to win the title.

The Bookmakers' Bets for the Miss World pageant are a tradition since the beginning of the pageant, in 1951, according to beauty pageant website, globalbeauties.com. Like sports, award shows and other competitions, people place a bet on their favourites in the hope of winning big.

The beauty from Jamaica, who placed second in the fast track Beach Beauty competition, one of five mini competitions from which the winner earns a place in the semi-finals, is among the favourites to win accor-ding to some of the most popular betting agencies around the world.

Global beauties lists the betting websites Centrebet, BetFair, Paddypower.com, Ladbrokes, Bet365, Unibet, Boylesports.com, Gamebookers.com and Intertops.com among the agencies through which bets are placed for the Miss World beauties.

Yendi is rated number one on Unibet with odds of 8 to one; and on Gamebookers.com with odds of 10 to one.

On Centrebet, Boylesports.com and Bet365, Yendi is second with odds of 13 to 1, 16 to 1 and 12 to one respectively. Each time she is behind Dominican Republic's Aida de la Cruz, (7.5). De la Cruz also beat Phillipps to the beach beauty title.

Phillipps is also fifth on Intertops.com and third on Paddy power.com.

Another major contender according to bookmakers is Miss Puerto Rico, Jennifer Guevara, who is favourite with Betfair, Paddypower.com, Ladbrokes and ties for first with Dominica on Intertops.com.
