PALM COURT - Ultimate in fine dining
published: Thursday | November 8, 2007

A steak done to perfection hits the spot all the time and the Palm Court Restaurant, Hilton Kingston hotel, has the secret. - Winston Sill/Freelance Photographer

For this year's Gleaner-sponsored Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW), the Palm Court Restaurant at the Hilton Kingston hotel is offering a one-of-a-kind experience.

With the capacity to seat 72 and an infusion cuisine, there is sure to be something for the most dis-cerning palate. Surrounded by contemporary decor with a Caribbean flavour and Moroccan touch, you can enjoy dishes from Argentina, Italy or France.

Their speciality is the 100 per cent black angus certified steak. This will definitely be offered KRW. Along with a calamari salad and gaspachio (Italian cold soup), you can enjoy their signature 18 oz porterhouse black angus steak which maitre d'htel Le Roy Myers claims, "You don't get anywhere else." Usually at a cost of $1,000, this will be offered during KRW for a fraction of the price. Accompanied by a white-glove service, what else could one want? Dress code for this one-of-a- kind dining experience is semi-formal and reservations are a must.
