The lads from the Christchurch Cathedral School choir were given a fine send-off on Thursday evening after their week-long stay in the island.

The all boys' choir from Oxford, England, performed in conjunction with Jamaica's own Kingston College choir and the crowds were enthralled. The lads (and more specifically their voices), delighted the gatherings in Spanish Town and Mandeville last week and so this reception for them to relax before jetting off for home last Friday. Chairman of the Kingston College board Crafton Miller, opened his home to the members of both school choirs, their respective officials as well as old boys from KC and other guests.

The English lads were treated to real Jamaican food from gungo peas soup to jerk pork while enjoying the warmth of Jamaica's climate and hospitality.
