Jacqueline Kennedy prepares to cut her birthday cake with husband, Winston, and granddaughter Anya Robertson. - Photos by Denise Reid

Jacqueline Kennedy was pleasantly surprised two Saturdays ago, when what was to be an evening of dinner between herself and her husband, Winston, turned out to be a festive soirée at the Day-O Plantation in Montego Bay.

Close family and friends made the setting quite cosy, and heaped praises on her for a life lived well!

Winston Kennedy serenades his wife, Jacqueline, with a rendition of the Happy Birthday song at her surprise 70th birthday party.

The evening boasted an excellent meal complemented by the sweet sounds of yesteryear. Paul Hurlock who took them on an enjoyable trip down memory lane! He also had a little help from family friend, Orlando Bailey.

Daughters of Jacqueline Kennedy, Carolyn Fisher and Hillary Roberston, look lovely in red and black outfits at their mother's birthday celebrations, held Saturday last, at the Day-O Plantation in Montego Bay.

After Winston and Jackie opened the dance floor, folks were only too glad to join them in 'twisting the night away'.

In attendance were Jackie's daughters, Carolyn, and husband, Frederick Fisher; Hillary and husband, Dr. Charles Robertson; son, Paul; and wife, Jacqueline; Christine Dexter; Donna Parnell, Marie Patterson, Ronald and Dawn Paris, president of the Soroptimist Club of Montego Bay Lorna Pitter and husband Peter, Dr. Harvey Heron and lovely wife Shona, Ernest Sterling and his charming wife, Kathleen of Verney House Hotel; Bishop Neville Desouza and wife, Iona; Vinette Adefunolye, among others.
