PORTMORE United yesterday stung Tivoli Gardens' pride with a 3-0 victory at the Edward Seaga Stadium to boot the homesters from atop the Cash Plus Premier League standings.
They now share the lead with Seba, August Town and Waterhouse.
Portmore's victory, along with other results around the league, saw three teams, which started the day as joint leaders, being replaced by four sides now sharing seven points.
Fans were left cursing the entire Tivoli team, from goalkeeper Edsel Scott to coach Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey, who hinted at internal problems at the West Kingston Club after just four rounds of matches.
Disputed goal
Former national striker Onandi Lowe opened the scoring after two minutes with a disputed goal as teammate Ricardo Cousins' free kick bobbed on to the big striker's hand in the box before he turned to scoop the ball high and wide of the Tivoli keeper.
Fans, who were urging on Tivoli for an equaliser, started streaming out of the ground in the 86th minute when defender Victor Thompson, under pressure from substitute Kevin Deerr, headed back to Scott but not powerful enough as the Portmore striker got between them both to tip the ball into goal.
Portmore put the icing on the cake three minutes later when defender Adrian Reid got past three defenders on the left side of Tivoli's box and buried a grounder inside the far post.
