Three claimed

Only three horses were claimed at Caymanas Park on Saturday, all in the fifth race won by the even-money favourite HEZA RANKING.

Seven claims were submitted for HEZA RANKING. The five-year-old gelding by Alisios - Lady Ranking was taken from trainer Desmond Shand for $300,000 by trainer Robert Darby Jr. on behalf of Millicent Thomas. Shand had previously claimed HEZA RANKING for $260,000 when scoring over 1800 metres on July 28. Also claimed out of the race were the runner-up LATIN KING and third-placed BLOW WIND BLOW.

LATIN KING was picked up for $315,000 by trainer Steadman Curtis on behalf of Jorrich Enterprise. The aging BLOW WIND BLOW was also taken for $315,000 by trainer Robert Darby Sr. on behalf of Kary Neale.
