Harbour View defeated Waterhouse 3-2 in a keenly fought contest. - Contributed A hat-trick from Prince Samuels carried Harbour View to a 3-2 victory over Waterhouse in the final of the 2007 Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA)/Shipping Industry of Jamaica Under-15 football competition for the Winston Chung-Fah trophy.
Entering the final as favourites, Harbour View took some time to settle down and had to stave off a wave of early attacks from Waterhouse. The Waterhouse aggregation launched a spirited offensive, resulting in a free kick that almost found the pigeon hole of the Harbour View custodian's net in the 20th minute.
Soon after, however, Harbour View gained the ascendancy and their efforts were rewarded with Prince Samuels' first goal in the 32nd minute.
Chevaugh Watson equalised for Waterhouse in the 38th, but within five minutes of the second half, Prince Samuel again put Harbour View ahead. The Kingston College Colts player then silenced Waterhouse supporters by completing his hat-trick in the 55th.
Striking distance
Linden Reid brought Waterhouse within striking distance when he scored in the 59th to put them 2-3. This was not enough as Harbour View's central defender Jamie Hyde marshalled the backline to hold Waterhouse at bay until referee Dexter Hamilton blew the final whistle.
It was a beaming captain Ashani Fairclough who collected Harbour View's first lien on the trophy, which was handed over by Michael Bernard, president of the Shipping Association of Jamaica.
