It's a time for miracles in Jamaica
published: Monday | July 16, 2007

The Ernest Angley Ministries will be hosting an evangelistic crusade at the National Heroes Park in Kingston from July 20-22. The crusade dubbed 'A time for miracles' is seeking to bring encouragement, restoration and deliverance to the people of Jamaica and ultimately initiate spiritual national transformation.

The main speaker will be the Rev. Ernest Angley, pastor and founder of Grace Cathedral in Akron/Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Rev. Angley presence in Jamaica is at the invitation of a local grouping of pastors led by Dr. Lloyd Maxwell, senior pastor, Faith Deliverance Ministries International, Cedar Grove, Portmore.

Called to minister

The local pastors in a release, said God called Rev. Angley at an early age to preach. His ministry, the release said, is often accompanied by prayers for the sick which often results in healings and miracles.

Ernest Angley Ministries owns a television station in Ohio, which it uses to spread the Christian gospel. Accompanying Rev. Angley to Jamaica will be approximately 100 people from his church. This group of people is made up of business persons, educators, civic leaders, and lay people that are coming at their own expense. The group will be visiting people in the prisons, colleges, various schools (including the Jamaica School for the Deaf) and hospitals passing out bibles, books, tapes, literature and magazines at no cost to the persons with whom they interact.
