Married to dream girl
published: Monday | July 16, 2007

Neville Reid and his dream girl Tamar Scarlett.

Neville Reid took his dream girl, Tamar Scarlett down the aisle on June 13 at the Gloster Hall Resort, Castle Kelly, St. Ann. Civil registrar Silvera Castro, O.D. J.P., performed the ceremony.

The couple met through her cousin while she was studying in London. Neville was swept off his feet by her beauty and charm. He soon began visiting the island regularly and when they were apart, they spent long hours on the phone. One day during one of their conversations, Neville asked, "Why don't we get married?" Though she was quite surprised, she responded positively.

Accolades

The happy groom says he loves his bride because of her strength of character, confidence, straightforwardness and meticulousness.

Tamar adores him because he is honest, loving, always poking fun at her and keeps her laughing and happy. He is also a fun-loving person, a real provider and family man.

"I also admire the love he has for his mother which is good sign. It tells me he will love and respect his wife in the same way. I just love that man," she said.
