Shaker

SanDisk 'Shaker'

SanDisk, a company most of us know for its memory cards, usb flashdrives and a number of computer accessories, has expanded its product range into the world of mp3 and mp4 players. One of its latest developments is a neat gadget called the Sansa Shaker.

This media player holds up to 125 songs with the included 512Mb SD card and supports both WAV and mp3 formats, it has to two headphones ports, a built-in speaker, and an expandable card slot which allows the consumer to increase the memory capacity of the device. What makes this device interesting is its interactive feature that allows you to change songs and skip folders by just shaking the device.

"And I mean literally just shaking the device. How cool is this?" No more searching for skip button, you simply shake the device and you can skip to the next track or even to the next folder, it also delivers a number of other sounds. "Now dat bad!"

However, there is one thing the manufacturers did not think of and that was a display screen, but what the device lacks in display it makes up for in ingenuity and sound quality. The Sansa Shaker is quite a cool mp3 player and would make a great gift. It's small, delivers good quality sound and comes in pink, blue and a variety of other colours.

iLuv Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headphones

Wireless headset

To those who own an iPod, the name iLuv should be nothing new, but for those who have never heard the name, here is the history. iLuv is the sister company of a major manufacturer of electronics. They also happen to be an authorised manufacturer of iPod and general audio accessories, and once again have produced an innovative and affordable device.

The iLuv wireless Bluetooth stereo headphones allows you to listen to your favourite mp3 and make and answer calls via your mobile phone without the hassle of:

1. Any cords or cables

2. The inconvenience of needing two separate pieces of equipment to carry out these everyday functions.

Integrated remote control system

This Bluetooth stereo headphone comes with an integrated remote control system for its music device functions, noise cancelling features for enhanced sound, the capacity to answer and make calls via a mobile phone, a listening and continuous talk time of up to nine hours, a charging time of up two and a half hours and most important, great sound quality which can be heard over a distance of up to 33 feet. The iLuv headset comes with a Bluetooth adapter included for any device that is not Bluetooth ready.

So no worries, this device will function with your iPod, mp3 mp4 player and mobile phone. It also supports direct wire connection using the included mini usb to 3.5mm cable.

iLuv has also manufactured an ear clip with Bluetooth technology. These devices are a must-have.

Note: In response to the reader's email. I would suggest you get another phone, you may replace the screen and it fails again. You cannot tell the lifespan of those devices unless done by the manufacturer.
