The two male suspects charged with the murder of former heavyweight boxing champion, Trevor Berbick, are scheduled to reappear in the Buff Bay Home Circuit Court this morning.
They are Kenton Gordon and Harold Berbick, of Norwich district, Portland.
The two last appeared in the Buff Bay Home Circuit Court on March 23, after their files were transferred from the Resident Magistrate's Court by way of a voluntary bill submitted by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
On March 23, Harold Berbick, nephew to the slain boxer, had his bail extended until June 18, while Gordon, who has been in custody since October 30 last year, is still behind bars, as no one has come forward to stand surety for him.
Both men were offered bail in the sum of $1 million each on February 26.
The body of the former World Boxing Council champion was discovered near his home at Norwich on October 28 last year, with four chop wounds to the back of the head.
Police sources say they believe the former boxer was ambushed by his attackers.
So far, the police have recovered a crowbar and a four-foot-long metallic pipe fitted with a clamp, which they believe was used by the suspects to commit the gruesome murder.
