Williams reappointed T'dad central bank governor

Ewart Williams, governor of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, begins his next term on July 17.

Ewart S. Williams has been reappointed Governor of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (CBTT) for a second five-year term, effective July 17, by President George Maxwell Richards.

Williams was first appointed July 2002.

He formerly worked with the International Monetary Fund where he rose to the position of deputy director and senior personnel manager in the western hemisphere department.
