Deaf association to host sign-language seminar

The Jamaica Association for the Deaf (JAD) will be hosting two one-day workshops on 'The Profession of Sign-Language Interpreting'.

The workshop is open to all serious signers currently functioning as sign-language interpreters in school, seminars, medical, religious, formal and informal settings, as well as other interested members of the public.

The workshop will take place on June 11 and again on June 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the University of the West Indies School of Continuing Studies, 2 Camp Road, Kingston.
