Sir Khan claimed

As many as 14 horses were claimed on Saturday's Digicel Derby Day programme at Caymanas Park.

Claiming activity progressed from the very first race on the mammoth 13-race programme when the winner, SIR KHAN, was taken from trainer Dennis Lee for $365,000 by trainer Wesley Perkins on behalf of Nadon.

In the sixth race over the straight course there were five claims. Among them was the winner, COMIN TRUE, taken from Dennis Lee for $240,000 by trainer Richie Todd on behalf of Joseph Lewars.

The runner-up TIME OF MY LIFE was picked up for $260,000 by trainer Bernard Vincent for himself, TASSY'S WHIP also for $260,000 by trainer Tyrone Prince on behalf of Connecticut, TWENTY NINE for $240,000 by trainer Derrick Parham for Winners Syndicate and TALLAWAH for $260,000 by trainer Robert Darby Sr. for Donald Williams.

Three horses were claimed in the 11th race won by 8-5 favourite MOST WANTED. The winner was taken from trainer Robert Darby Sr. for $170,000 by Dennis Lee for himself, MUSTANG for $170,000 by trainer Neive Graham for Teofore Bennett and QUICK MEDIC also for $170,000 by trainer Albert Chong on behalf of George P.

In the 13th and final race won by 14-1 outsider NIJINSKY'S WAR, beaten favourite CAPTAIN BONE was picked up for $210,000 by trainer Neive Graham for Lenford Eddie, SOY MUJER for $210,000 by trainer Desmond Shand on behalf of Robert Byers, CONCORDE for $210,000 by trainer Raymond Townsend for himself, BANJUHAR for $210,000 by trainer Roy Shields for himself and CHINA TOWN for $210,000 by trainer Patrick Chang on behalf of David Marriott.
