Mix it up - One top four looks
published: Monday | May 21, 2007

Sacha Walters, Staff Reporter

Getting the best bang for a buck is the mantra of a fashionista on a budget.

Being able to wear one top to the office and transferring it to three other occasions, is a great way of doing just that.

Don't relegate individual pieces to work, party or casual. Mix it up, it won't only save you money, it might also broaden your fashion sense. Just arm yourself with accessories and get ready to think outside the box.

To demonstrate, Flair sourced a black and white frilly top from Rodeo Drive at 7th Avenue Plaza. We then played dress up in their closets and came up with these nifty outfits.

Off to the office. The high neckline of the blouse can be worn buttoned all the way to the top or transformed by opening a couple of buttons and - voil, we have a collar. Add a bright-coloured handbag and the icing is placed on the power suit.

Model Llourel Beckford is ready for the movies, in jean, Bermuda shorts, a mustard bracelet with earrings to match and, of course, her trusty versatile blouse.

All glammed up and off to brunch, this easy breezy skirt is another cool option.
