Barbara Gayle, Staff ReporterTwo men were charged yesterday in connection with the multimillion lottery scam operating out of Montego Bay, St. James, bringing to four the number of persons charged.
They are Jomo Bernard, also called 'Brilliant', 29, singer and musician and Lenroy Campbell, also called "Sufferer", both of Bogue Hill Village, Montego Bay.
They have been charged with conspiracy to defraud and will appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
Women already charged
Two women have already been charged in connection with the scam.
They are Shannon Ricketts also of a Bogue Hill Village address, who was charged on Monday with 21 counts of fraud and obtaining money by false pretences.
Last week 21-year-old Sherika Headley was charged with unlawful possession after $1 million was allegedly recovered from her bedroom.
Headley appeared in the Montego Bay RM Court last Friday where she was granted bail in the sum of $250,000 with sureties.
However, she was not able to take up the bail offer as she was transported to Kingston for further interrogation in relation to the lottery scam.
