Boys' Town set to get by Central Kingston

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Boys' Town should continue their defence of the Western Union/KSAFA Jackie Bell Knockout crown with a win over Central Kingston at Winchester Park today.
In the other quarter-finals, Waterhouse travel to Up Park Camp to play the JDF and Santos host Tivoli Gardens at the Bell Chung Oval.
The August Town/Harbour View encounter has been postponed because Harbour View are in Trinidad and Tobago for their Caribbean Club championship semi-final against W Connection.
Boys' Town, fresh from their 2-1 win over fellow Premier League outfit Wadadah on Thursday, should have no problem knocking off Central Kingston.
In their last Jackie Bell match, the Red Brigade brushed aside Cavalier 4-1 with the young Peter Keyes scoring three times.
Shocked Mtn View
Central Kingston, currently lying third in the Major League - two divisions below the Premier League - upset Super League team Mountain View 1-0 in the last round.
If coach Karl Russell's prediction is anything to go by, then Central Kingston should book their place in the semi-finals against Harbour View or August Town.
After turning back Mountain View, Russell said his team was going as far as the players wanted to. "We are going as far as how the players want to take it. We don't see ourselves stopping just like that. We are working to play the bigger teams, that is my objective," Russell said.
Mammoth effort
It will have to take a mammoth effort from the Allison brothers, Richard and Eric, along with Ricardo Taylor, Owen Johnson, Leon Small and Kemar Brown to defeat Boys' Town.
Meanwhile, Premier League teams Waterhouse and Tivoli Gardens should also register wins over JDF and Santos, respectively.
Waterhouse pounded Major League outfit Olympic Gardens 3-0 in the last round but might find the marching men of the JDF a little more difficult to handle.
JDF, second in the Super League, knocked off Arnett Gardens and could add another top-flight team to their list of scalps.
Nevertheless, Waterhouse, coming off a 3-1 loss to Harbour View on Wednesday night, should get home ahead of the JDF in a tough battle.
Tivoli Gardens have a tricky encounter against a Santos team lying third in the Super League but should survive the Bell Chung Oval clash.
