'One Love', 'Israelites' for Grammy Hall of Fame
REGGAE PIONEERS Bob Marley and Desmond Dekker, who were once apprentice welders at the same west Kingston shop, will be honoured by the Recording Academy next month when their songs, One Love and Israelites, will be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Musical 'Dreamgirls' leads Academy Awards contenders

BEVERLY HILLS, California (AP): The crowd-pleasing musical Dreamgirls led Academy Awards contenders yesterday with eight nominations, but surprisingly was shut out in the best picture category after being considered a potential front-runner.
