PRO - Always the group to give the right start to the festive season, PRO Communications hosted its Christmas/appreciation party at the company's offices last Friday.
Cars were strewn along both sides of Kingsway Road as guests streamed in for this one. Since it was an 'old time Chrismus party', there were some variations, with the traditional national costume, the bandana, as some guests tried to match the theme. Most guests went for a more colourful attire and a few made sure to dress warm for what turned out to be a slightly chilly evening, what with the weather we have been having lately.
Groovy music
As with any PRO party, the vibe was right with groovy music bringing out the dancer in everybody. There were generous helpings of good old Jamaican food, and guests didn't hesitate to delve into the ham (a must-have for any party at this time of year), the curried goat; throw in roti and chicken and they had plenty to keep their taste buds busy. Some Christmas cake for dessert was the perfect 'top up'. Lucky guests took home prizes courtesy of some of PRO's biggest clients.
Guests included Col. Trevor MacMillan, who took the best Jamaican costume award; Angela Patterson; CVM crew, including Maia Chung, Dara Smith, Nicole Hayles, Candace Buchanan; Nationwide's Cliff Hughes; Carmen Patterson; Cecil Thoms; Arthur Hall and Claire Clarke-Grant.
