Murray Avenue's in a bad way
published: Friday | November 24, 2006

The Editor, Sir:

I wish to alert the St. Thomas Parish Council and the St. Thomas Health Department to the bad condition of a portion of the street along Murray Avenue, in Morant Bay, owing to water coming from premises in front of Courts furniture store.

This water looks like and smells like septic pit overflows, affecting business and pedestrians as potholes get deeper and the odour becomes unbearable.

This situation needs urgent attention from the Parish Council, and the St Thomas Health Department. For if the condition continues there could be serious health risks.

I am, etc.,

J.A. BAILEY

Dalvey P.O.

St Thomas
