LETTER OF THE DAY - Christie detractors malign civil service standards
The Editor, Sir: The odious political outpourings against the Contractor General make me marvel at the obvious decline in the standard of public discourse, as well as the seeming somnolence of the Jamaica Civil Service Association.

A vicious cycle

THE EDITOR, Sir: ONE OF our country's biggest problems is the dualistic nature of our society, which is the coexistence of stark contrasting conditions, for instance, the existence of affluent upscale communities and inner-city communities.
