Three board resignations at Courts Jamaica Ltd

Courts Jamaica Limited has advised the Jamaica Stock Exchange of three resignations from its board of directors, but says the three who are employed by the company would remain in their jobs.

Sharon Stephenson, director of consumer credit, Peter Thompson, purchasing director and John Roberts, director of branch operations "have resigned from the board of directors with immediate effect," said the notice posted November 2.

The three will continue as heads of their departments.

"Their (board) resignations are not expected to have any effect on the day-to-day role of these valuable members of the Courts management team, or on the operations of the company," the statement read.
