Casserly
In the past two years, Patrick Casserly has invested US$5.3 million in expanding his company, eService Group, and his push into Kingston is meant to service his newest client segment, financial services.
Casserly told Sunday Business that the lease he is negotiating for the 8th floor of The Towers on Dominica Drive not eight floors as previously reported - would give him another 11,512 square feet of call centre space and would create some 300 new jobs.
"The Towers is specifically for our banking customers," said the eServices chief executive officer on Friday.
He already employs 2,600 agents in three locations across two countries, Jamaica and St Lucia.
"Overall, our projection is that we will have 3,000 people employed in the next few months," said Casserly.
In Montego Bay, eServices is spread across 120,000 square feet in three buildings at the Montego Bay Free Zone; it occupies another 60,000 square feet at Naggo Head, St Catherine; and 17,500 square feet in St Lucia.
Casserly who has already spent US$2.5 million this year as he grows his business, is currently weighing the pros and cons of locations in Trinidad and Tobago, Anguilla and St Martin, to deepen his push into the region.
