The Editor Sir,On behalf of my wife Olive, our sons Clayton, Craig and Jamie, we wish to express our thanks, gratitude, and sincere appreciation for the many tributes, concerts, and support afforded us during this time of bereavement we are experiencing on the passing of my stepmother, Louise Bennett-Coverley, Miss Lou.
It is comforting and inspiring, and it warms our hearts, especially at this time, to see the many articles, pictures, comments, and editorials generated to her publicly, by the media in Toronto, Jamaica, and the diaspora.
Caregivers and friends
Special thanks to your organisation, as well as the Government of Jamaica and its representatives here in Canada and Jamaica, the Government of Ontario, Canada, the media in Canada and Jamaica, and the clergy and their teams in Toronto and Jamaica, and to all Miss Lou's caregivers and friends globally.
We appreciate everyone in Toronto and Jamaica who played a vital role in orchestrating the ultimate celebrations and services, for both my parents.
May you all walk in the Word, knowing that it is a joyful journey. "Walk Good" and blessings to ALL, all the time.
I am, etc.,
FABIAN COVERLEY
