IT WAS Bounty Killer's 'It's Tha Party' on Saturday night and he was given musical presents by several of the selectors who played for the large audience at the Constant Spring Football Field.

And they were all gift wrapped packages of his own voice.

"This is not really a stage show. Is a party fi de big man pon him birthday. Some bway naa bus nobody. De Warlord mek me have visa, mek Movado have visa." Foota Hype said a few words minutes after 3:00 a.m. and the audience roared as he played a Bounty song.

Swam King said "Bounty, me a gi yu suppen exclusive pon yu birthday," that turning out to be a dub plate of Khaki Suit with Junior Gong on the Sleng Teng rhythm.

Chromatic played not only Bounty Killer's Eagle and The Hawk but also a clip of Bounty Killer saying "no gal cyaan sey Bounty a gal clown? How much time Angel propose me fi married me. Me a bad man, me married Miss Ivy." The crowd roared.

Pink Panther of Black Kat went way back to play a Bounty dub plate intoning "if a war oonu want mek it start".

WIDESPREAD DELIVERY

Rasheed from Miami did the most extensive Bounty Killer set, declaring "we a go give Bounty Killer a present." He started out with Lodge and followed with Cellular Phone and demanded to see the hands of "all who sey no dread cyaan kill Killer," before playing Smoke Yu Herb. Pinchers and Bounty went 'riding west', before there was some vintage bad man Pryce informing "bway yu dead dis time", demanding "a wha tek dis punk bout him a Indian" and music "fi gun no ask who you it no tek interview".

"Bounty bus de mos' girl too. If Bounty neva have dat girl dat bway woulden wan' dat girl," Rasheed said, to cheers from the audience.
