Public apology to Mediamix, Gleaner

THE EDITOR, Sir:

WE AT the Jamaica Promotions Corporation consider the Gleaner Company and Mediamix to be valuable partners with whom we have enjoyed a wonderful partnership over the years. It is against this background that we must express our deep regret at the misunderstanding which led to the Gleaner Company being incorrectly assigned responsibility for an omission in the ad announcing the premiere of the film Glory to Gloriana, appearing in the Sunday, April 30, 2006 edition of the newspaper.

We apologise for the error on our part and for any inconvenience caused to the Gleaner Company and to Mediamix.

We look forward to continuing the positive and fruitful working relationship among our organisations.
