The late Pansy Hassan, former NDTC principal dancer, for whom Sunday's concert is being held.
THE ANNUAL National Dance Theatre Company's (NDTC) Easter Sunday morning act of worship, better known as Morning of Movement and Music, will take place today at the Little Theatre, Tom Redcam Drive, St. Andrew. It is dedicated to founding member and former principal dancer the late Pansy Hassan.
Celebrating the spirituality of the religious expressions of sacrifice, resurrection and atonement, the music and dances are specially chosen.
This year the music ranges from locally composed or arranged works by Marjorie Whylie, with Noel Dexter's Psalm 150 bringing the presentation to a close, to works by Franz Schubert and Stephen Schwartz in addition to black spirituals Rocka My Soul and I've Been Buked.
