Today is Peace Day
published: Tuesday | March 7, 2006

PEACE AND Love in Society (PALS) in collaboration with the Violence Prevention Alliance (VPA) will observe today as Peace Day. Both are urging all Jamaicans to join them in observing the day.

The day is being observed under two themes: 'No Violence. One Love' and 'Watch yu Flex, Nuh Badda Vex'.

PEACE DAY AGENDA

Concert at August Town Primary School 8:00 a.m.

Denham Town Primary School - 8.00 a.m. Special Assembly with Sistren Collective Theatre.

Burial of Violence service at Charlie Smith High School 12:00 p.m.

Three marches which will converge in a concert at the Urban Development Corpora-tion car park, downtown, Kingston at 3:30 p.m.

The marches will start from:

Bob Marley Statue

Three Miles
