'PNP using JLP plans'
published: Monday | February 13, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

The JLP's manifesto has proven to be the PNP's best hope. Many of PNP's policies have come directly from the Jamaica Labour Party's blueprint.

After returning to office in 2002 the PNP implemented the National Health Fund that was proposed in JLP's Health Plan.

In recent times the ministry has proposed a national intelligence agency. The JLP proposed the NIA in its 2002 crime reduction plan.

The PNP and the general public has given little recognition to JLP's vision.

If this Government wants to put Jamaica back on track they will need to study the policies of the JLP which led to great prosperity in the 1960s and 1980s.

I am, etc.,

DARYL BAUGH
