Cedric Titus student stabbed to death
published: Tuesday | January 24, 2006

WESTERN BUREAU:

A STUDENT of the Cedric Titus High School is dead and another being sought by the Clark's Town police in Trelawny after an altercation yesterday.

The students, whose names are being withheld, are 11th graders and are believed to be between 17 and 18 years old.

Reports are that about 4:45 p.m. yesterday, the boys had a dispute during which one boy hit the other, who subsequently ran away from the scene and returned with a knife or ice pick.

He stabbed the boy, who then ran towards the Clark's Town Police Station and collapsed. He was taken to the Falmouth Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An eyewitness reported that the suspect calmly pocketed his knife, then boarded a bus and made his escape.
