ABOUT 600 students and members of staff from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, will tour Seville Heritage Park in St. Ann on January 12. The students will be in Jamaica as part of an academic adventure by the university, organised locally by Jamaica Tours.
This is the second straight year that the students will be visiting. Last year, over 700 students and members of staff of the university toured Seville Heritage Park where they learnt about Jamaica's history through the newly-refurbished exhibition on site. The group will arrive by cruise ship at the Ocho Rios pier before being transported to Seville by bus.
Lynn University currently hosts students from 46 states and more than 90 countries around the world, creating a community in which each student has a rich, multicultural experience.
