WHAT A week! Flood creating havoc in St. Mary and other parishes. Tropical storm Gamma is dodging around in the Caribbean Sea. A cheap computer marketed to children. Sean Paul hits gold with The Trinity. The Soca Warriors on the road to Germany. Street genocide continues in Kingston. Schools attack by gang warfare in the capital. Teargas bites mayors like wasps near Jamaica House. The jackpot wins again and now it is back at seven million.
Some buyers are disappointed that the jackpot has been won, so quickly, so soon. I can assure you that the winner is indeed happy. To build more confidence in the game, the parish of the winning ticket should be printed. After a high jackpot, sales are normally sustained; since there are many people who have not really realised that the jackpot is gone! Secondly, just the act of the jackpot being won helps to encourage new sales.
