Readers speak ... Why we love Flair
published: Monday | October 17, 2005

THROUGH THE years we have been with you constantly. Through heartbreaks, relationship highs and lows; first dates, memorable weddings; health issues; fantastic achievements and personal triumphs.

Now after 21 years, it's your turn to tell us why you have stayed with us through the years.

Romae Gordon, Pulse's fashion Director, former international model:

I love to read Flair because it's beautifully designed and has interesting features and articles.

Lisa Hannah, Miss World 1993:

It has changed so much. It's diverse, keeps up with the times and has a strong commitment to dealing with female issues.

Gerald Ford, Aviator:

The reality of life is so stressfull Flair represents the easier side. It's more pleasing and relaxing compared to crime, violence and the economic crisis you read about in the main papers.

Dwayne Swaby, Development/purchasing manager:

I like the fashion articles. They keep me current on what's happening on the fashion scene.

Dwight Moore, KIA Motors Group of Companies:

It keeps me current and updated with the trends and thought processes of the fairer sex whom I just enjoy communicating with.

Kingsley Cooper, Head of Pulse Modeling Agency:

I have been a Flair fan since your first issue 21 years ago. It is still a thrill to get Monday's paper and my first read is always your well designed and informative Flair. It's even better when you have a Pulse supermodel on the cover!

Marcia Erskine, Public relations consultant:

I like the updates on style and fashion. It keeps me on the cutting edge of what's happening on the fashion scene.

Lorraine Clunie:

Flair is a very balanced magazine. Though geared towards women, there is content for both men and women. Personally, it makes my Monday.

Shama Johnson, Events and marketing manager:

I find the magazine to be very enjoyable to read but I particularly like the fashion.

Yvonne Myrie, guidance counsellor:

It is very informative, especially for women. It touches issues like divorce and others where women are not really aware of their rights. It is reader friendly.

Abiona Pape, businesswoman:

I love the articles, the relationship articles in particular. They give me a different perspective on what men and women want and the problems they face. They always examine interesting topics. I also enjoy the fashion.

Kimberly Stiff, public relations officer:

It appeals to the young professional woman as it addresses issues that are relevant to them as well as issues about personal life.

Kadianne Henry, Student:

I enjoy the wedding couple features. I like to look at the wedding dresses and the bridesmaids' dresses.
